A Case of Korean Medicine for Abdominal Pain due to Behcet’s Disease

Abstract
|
|
|
Objectives：The purpose of this study is to report the clinical effectiveness of Korean medicine, especially Pyungwi-san-gamibang on Behcet’s disease patient with abdominal pain.
Methods：We treated him with Korean medicine, involving herbal decoction, acupuncture, moxibustion and cupping. Also, we ask a patient about his condition every day and recorded it.
Results：After 6 days of treatment, abdominal pain decreased by 90% and diarrhea disappeared on the second day of hospitalization.
Conclusions：According to this study, Korean medicine, including Pyungwisan- gamibang is an effective treatment for the cure of Symptoms associated with Behcet’s disease.
